2016 China Intelligent Manufacturing Forum (Southwest) successfully hosted

May 13, 2016, Chongqing—Chinese Digital Enterprise Portal e-works announced that China Intelligent Manufacturing Forum has successfully hosted at Hyatt Regency Chongqing.

More than 200 participants including intelligent experts, well-known manufacturers and mainstream vendors attended the forum. Focused on the theme of “Chinese intelligent manufacturing roadmap”, the guests shared and discussed trends, use cases and solutions around the intelligent manufacturing.

Mr. Xiaoxian Yi, Section Chief of Economy Information, Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission addressed the forum. Later, Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO analyzed ten key technologies on “Made in China 2025 and Intelligent Manufacturing strategy”. He pointed out that intelligent manufacturing is to achieve the intelligence and innovation for the whole manufacturing value chain.

Mr. Xiangmin Tang, R&D Information Chief Engineer of Chongqing Changan Automobile gave a speech on the new norm of automobile value chain and intelligent manufacturing—focusing on Changan Automobile. He said that, as the first automotive trail company of intelligent manufacturing, Chang’an has largely carried out digital technology and application to promote innovation in product, manufacturing, and business models. Mr. Jun Li, Information Technology Director of Chongqing Yanfeng Johnson Controls Auto Parts introduced intelligent manufacturing planning, implementation and practice.

Domestic and overseas software vendors also shared their solutions, including DELL, Sichuan Rainbow Consulting & Software, and MJ Intelligent System.

In the morning roundtable discussion, guests discussed intelligent manufacturing roadmap, full integration, and business model transformation about digital factory and production process control.

In the afternoon session, Mr. Wei Du, e-works Consulting Director introduced top level design and overall planning of intelligent factory. Mr. Yongwen Liu, General Manager of Critical Manufacturing shared MES technology and application trend through speech of Way to Industry 4.0. Mr. Junqing Wang, Hikvision Enterprise Solution Director comprehensively introduced Hikvision’s visual integrated solution. Mr. Zhanmin Shi, Information Department System Application Manager of SAIC Iveco Hongyan shared remote operation and maintenance breakthroughs for traditional manufacturers to successfully transforming into intelligent manufacturing.

The forum has been well received by audiences and guests. Participants from manufacturing industry said that this forum provided them with practical and valuable experience in promoting intelligent manufacturing strategy and solutions.
