On the first day of the forum, government officer and IT experts have illustrated and analyzed the Chinese manufacturing deepening integration of industrialization and information. Mr. Yu Xu, Director of Information Promotion Department of MIIT addressed the forum. He further stressed the importance of promoting the deep integration of industrialization and information. He also pointed out the key point in the deep integration.

Professor Peigen Li, President of HUST announced 2013 Chinese manufacturing top 10 hot topics and 2013 Chinese manufacturing IT application top 10 hot topics. With detailed analysis and summary to 2013 Chinese manufacturing, Professor Li also look forward to and forecast the development trends in 2014.

In the following session, senior consultants, chief engineers and chief architect respectively illustrated their understanding of Chinese manufacturing transformation and upgrading and their solutions as well. Their topics cover intelligent plants builds new pattern of modern industry development, BPM in the deep integration, innovation and management of forklift industry leader, new technologies of deep integration and agile manufacturing.

The last session of the first day is CEO roundtable discussion. CEOs of Nantong CIMC, HELI Forklift, and Sinoma Technology and Equipment Group discussed about the value of Chinese manufacturing transformation and upgrading.

On the morning session of second-day forum, CIOs and IT software vendors exchanged their IT construction and implementation experience. In the first session, Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO introduced the deep integration development trend in Chinese manufacturing, analyzed the challenges and measures, and missions of CIO in the manufacturing transformation.

CIOs from steel, telecommunication and equipment manufacturing, software vendor from EWINinfo and Ruijie Networks and hardware vendor from Lenovo ThinkStation have brought audience a storm of thinking on manufacturing IT applications. In the following session, CIOs from optical fiber and cable, footwear, wind power equipment, apparel, and electronics, and engineering machinery industry leading companies discussed with Mr. Chong Lu of Infor around the topic "new technology, new business, and new development".

In the afternoon session, Anwise Technology, A10 Networks, FlowPortal, MessageSolution, and Hualong Xunda respectively introduced their solution. Liby Group and Wuhan Iron and Steel Group shared their IT construction journey and experience. In CIO roundtable discussion, CIOs from OSI Group, Dawn Group, Luoxin Precision, Tongwei Co., Ltd., and Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute participated and introduced their experience and achievements in IT construction practice.

The award ceremony of Chinese manufacturing IT application appraisal was hold to encourage the hard work and efforts CIOs and CEOs have made in the last year. Modern industry can hardly do without technology innovation and management.
