October 27 2016, Xiamen—Chinese Digital Enterprise Portal e-works announced the successful conclusion of 2016 China Intelligent Manufacturing Forum (Xiamen) at Macro Polo Xiamen Hotel. More than 200 manufacturing representatives and mainstream home and abroad software vendor attended the forum, including local government leaders Mr. Jianming Li, Deputy Director of Xiamen Economic and Information Commission and Mr. Qing Ding, Xiamen Development and Reform Commission Industry Business Deputy Director.

Dr. Pei Huang, e-works CEO analyzed key technologies of intelligent manufacturing in his speech of Sharing Economy of Intelligent Manufacturing and Manufacturing Industry. Dr. Huang pointed out that the level of Chinese intelligent manufacturing is at the level of “smart”, namely the functions of data collection, processing and analysis. The intelligent level of intelligent manufacturing means autonomic learning, independent decision-making, and continuous optimization.

Mr. Hekun Lin, Xiamen Promotion Center for Integration of Informationization and Industrialization Director gave a speech on Management Improvement in Intelligent Manufacturing Era. He analyzed how to use opportunities brought by technological progress to promote internal management and overall competitiveness and to embrace intelligent manufacturing. Mr. Lei Zhang, e-works Consulting Presales Director and Senior Consultant analyzed features and issues in building enterprise IT application systems and gave some thoughts and suggestions.

Participated software vendors interpreted digital factory and intelligent manufacturing and brought some latest solutions and successful cases.
Mr. Donghui Mao, IBM Greater China Hybrid Cloud Product Line Business Manager analyzed the importance of cloud applications in manufacturing enterprises and demonstrated IBM’s best practice in cloud products.

Mr. Benfeng Chen, AllMobilize Founder and CEO analyzed the future development of mobile informationization and AllMobilize solutions.

Mr. Wei Liu, APEXSOFT VP analyzed challenges faced by enterprises in implementing their IT systems. Mr. Liu thought that challenges mainly come from development, integration, user, portal, process, master data, interface, and mobile. He also told some successful implementation stories.

Mr. Chunhui Su, Weaver Senior Consultant introduced Weaver’s intelligent manufacturing management solutions, including collaborative commerce, platform application integration and presented some typical industry user case.
