2016 Chinese Industrialization and Information Integration Forum Successfully Closed

18th March 2016, Beijing—e-works, Chinese Digital Enterprise Portal announced that 2016 Chinese Industrialization and Information Integration Forum was successfully closed in Beijing.

During the two-day session, more than 500 participants attended the forum including MIIT leaders, manufacturing experts and economists, CEOs, CIOs, and consulting experts. Together they discussed Chinese manufacturing transformation and upgrading under Made in China 2025 Initiative. The award ceremony of Chinese manufacturing IT application appraisal was also held to encourage the hard work and efforts that CIOs and CEOs have made in last year. The prizes include Chinese Manufacturing Outstanding CEO, Outstanding CIO, Best Practice, Outstanding Vendor, and Excellent Solution.

Dr. Xiaopeng An, Deputy Director of MIIT Information Technology and Software Service Department analyzed customized production model from five points : Industry 4.0, technological path, organizational transformation, market competition, and economy theory.

Followed Mr. An’s speech, manufacturing company executives and vendor representatives shared their views on information technology and industrialization integration, including Mr. Youfei Yu, CEO of Weihua Group, Mr. Jisong Yao, Dell Senior Solution Architect, Mr. Deyu Ding, InteMES Technical Director, and Mr. Feng Tian, Pera Global Senior Vice President. In session of CEO Roundtable Discussion, CEOs and IT experts brought brainstorming ideas and suggestions on manufacturing business development in the new normal.

Professor Peigen Li, the fellow of Chinese Academy of Engineering interpreted the 2015 top 10 Chinese manufacturing hotspots. He pointed out that since the release of Made in China 2025, the whole nation has vigorously promote the Nation of Strong Manufacturing strategy last year.

In the morning keynote speech sessions, CIOs from Guangxi Yuchai Group and Bestore Food shared their IT construction experience. Vendors from Cisco, HP, and HKT shared their solutions.In the afternoon session, Dr. Sha Wei, Deputy Director of China Electronics Standardization Institute introduced the building of Nation Intelligent Manufacturing Standard System.

Mr. Ping Xu, Vice President of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding company analyzed measures against overcapacity. QuantumAsia, Epicor, Anwise, Mainiway shared their IT solutions.

There are over 30 manufacturing solution providers participated the forum, including DELL, IntMES, Pera Global, CISCO, HP, Dynatrace, HKT, QuantumAsia, EPICOR, Anwise, Mainiway、MJ Intelligent System, Extech, H3 BPM, LINKABLE, THSOFT, Galaxy Software, Huatie Haixing Software, Real-time Data, Novots Technologies, DYXnet, Dassault Systemes Simulia etc.

In recent years, America launched Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, Germany released Industry 4.0, Japan published 2014 Manufacturing Whitepaper. e-works believed that the application of intelligent manufacturing technology in China is significant and urgent for manufacturing transformation and upgrading, which is obvious in Made in China 2025 planning. Intelligent manufacturing is an inevitable course to manufacturing transformation and upgrading in China.
