Recently, e-works has released Top 10 Chinese Manufacturing Hotspots in 2015.

1. Made in China 2025 takes off
In 2015, Premier Li signed on the strategic planning of Made in China 2025. It means that China started full propelling of China-Manufacturing-Excellence strategy and it is the first ten-year action guideline about this strategy. The goal of this action guideline is to achieving intelligent manufacturing. China is transforming from a large manufacturing country to a powerful manufacturing country by promoting enterprise innovation capacity and industry upgrading.

2. Urgent needs of structural adjustment
With the economic downturn in 2015, Chinese manufacturing industry are facing challenges of overcapacity, unreasonable industrial structure, waning cost advantage, and moving out of manufacturing enterprises. Between the dilemmas of flowing back high-end manufacturing and moving out of low-end manufacturing, China must accelerate its restructuring and transformation.

3. Upsurge of intelligent manufacturing
In the drive of German Industry 4.0 and American Industrial Internet, China has released its planning of Made in China 2025 and started fully deploying and carrying forward the policy of China-manufacturing-excellence in 2015. Intelligent manufacturing has now become the major direction of Chinese manufacturing. Under the great impetus of nation policy, Chinese manufacturing is now stirring up an upsurge of intelligent manufacturing.

4. International Exploration of manufacturing industry
In recent years, Chinese high-speed rail and nuclear power has been widely recognized as two important name cards of Chinese high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Not only in high-end manufacturing industry, but also traditional manufacturing industries like home appliances, machinery, iron and steel have went abroad and started their international expansion and industry layout.

5. Internet Plus enables new manufacturing patterns
Internet plus has widely spread in various industries. Its large influences on Chinese strategies and overall economy especially the traditional manufacturing industry made it an irresistible trend of our time. Internet Plus will become a new engine driving manufacturing power and transforming research and development, production modes and marketing services.

6. Need of high-quality innovation
On July 24th 2015, Mckinsey Global Institute released a report called The China Effect on Global Innovation. According to the report, China has the potential to be the driving force of global innovation. 7. Emerging technologies bring new materials and techniques
As the major driving forces of current social change, emerging technologies largely affect the generations and applications of new materials and new techniques, especially the augmented manufacturing and advanced composite material. Although these two technologies are difficult for large-scale application, they are important key technologies in aerospace and defense industry.

8. Industrial robots boost human-machine collaboration
Giving the waning demographic dividend, Chinese manufacturing is accelerating replacing labor force with robots. The fact is that robots are not simply replacing humans but also collaborating with them. With the help of these robotic partners, manufacturing and production processes will become more intelligent and more efficient and intelligent manufacturing and customization will be around the corner.
