Nobel Automotive forms JV in China

Nobel Automotive, a supplier owned by Orhan Holding of Turkey, says it has formed a joint venture to produce automotive fluid handling systems with Fuzhou Rocket Enterprises Co.

Nobel will hold a majority stake in the partnership, which will be called Nobel Rocket Co. Nobel Automotive President Larry Denton has been named chairman of the joint venture.

Fuzhou Rocket supplies tubing and fluid handling systems to Changan Ford Mazda, Jiangling Motor, Dongfeng Motor, GAC Changfeng Motor, SAIC Motor and others.

The company was formed in 2000, and operates facilities in Chongqing, Fuzhou, Haikou and Liuzhou.

Nobel is a wholly owned subsidiary of Orhan Holding A.S., which is based in Bursa, Turkey. The company has 13 facilities in Asia, Europe and North America.
