Lenovo launches first ThinkPad laptop

The retail price of ThinkPad X41T is over 20, 000 yuan, suggesting Lenovo will stick to the high-end route for the ThinkPad series.

Three months after acquisition of IBM PC, Lenovo launched its first ThinkPad product, the ThinkPad X41T laptop on Aug 16, 2005.

As the newest member in the ThinkPad X series, the ThinkPad X41T inherits the consistent style of the Think series. The retail price of ThinkPad X41T is over 20, 000 yuan, suggesting Lenovo will stick to the high-end route for the ThinkPad series.

The press conference was hosted by Lenovo Greater China general manager Hong Yuexia, and the word "Lenovo" was the most frequently used word at the conference.
