BEIJING (AFX) - China software sales will grow by an average of 16.1 pct annually from 2006 to 2010, CCID Consulting said.
The Beijing-based research firm under the Ministry of Information Industry forecast in an annual report that the size of the market will hit 120 bln yuan in 2010.
Last year, software sales stood at 56.47 bln yuan, up 17.9 pct.
Sales of Linux software in 2005 are seen at 128 mln yuan, up 32.9 pct.
