The China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (hereafter as “China Glass”) is a unique international glass exhibition sponsored and supported by all glass industry-related governmental departments and national trade associations of China. The 18th event will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from May 16 to 19, 2007. It will be the largest one, as planned more than 46,000 square meters of 4 halls – Hall W1, Hall W2, Hall W3 and Hall W4, since it was launched in 1986. The above-mentioned 4 national groups will be present once more and have their own pavilions at the event. Their pavilion spaces will be much larger this time than the past time. The spaces for local exhibitors have been about sold out by now. Only 30% of the spaces for international exhibitors is available by now. At least 460 exhibitors from the global glass industry will meet at China Glass in Shanghai. They will bring new machines and technologies with them, for example, the TFT substrate glass washing machine and cutting machine, the insulating glass assembling machines without aluminum spacer, CNC glass processing center, the float flat glass cold end cutting system and measurement system, the glass bottle and glass sheet quality inspection systems, the glass industrial robots, the glass coating system and technology, the batch plant and furnace engineering technology, the insulating glass production line, the tempering glass production line, the laminated glass production line, the washing machine, the cutting machine, edging grinding machine and beveling machine.
