SOUTH WINDSOR, Connecticut, March 16, 2006 ¨C Gerber Technology has announced it donated computer-aided design (CAD) software to the Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). The donation ceremony, held on February 20 in the multi-media centre of SUES, was a prelude to the cooperation agreement between Gerber Technology and the College of Fashion, SUES signed during the event.  Gerber Technology donated 40 seats (licenses) of Accumark PE pattern design, grading and marker making software and 40 seats of Accumark MTM made-to-measure software. This represents a total value of nearly 6,500,000 RMB ($800,000). As part of the donation, Gerber Technology will provide software upgrades to the school free of charge. Gerber will also train SUES instructors to improve their practical knowledge of the systems and their applications. With the signed agreement of cooperation, SUES has become Gerber Technology¡¯s newest education partner in mainland China.
