In the meantime, the event had raised the curtain of Kingdee Corporation's 2009 strategic expansion into new industry. Further, Kingdee would strengthen its foundation of talented staff, products and clients through its merger of manufacturers in the industry.

By virtue of Kingdee's advantages of reputed brand and good channel, both parties' advantages could be fully utilized after Sun Rising Software's core team joined and they would work together to help Kingdee, the leader in Chinese software industry, stand on the highest peak of ERP market in the retail and chain industry, so as to provide more complete and excellent turnkey solutions for more customers.    

 

Merger and acquisition had been a regular method for development in the industry. In the past 16 years since its establishment, Kingdee had acquired Beijing Case, Xinya Cybics (Hong Kong), Shenzhen Gelilai and Gloryview Technology, etc. In these acquisitions, it also improved its own production lines, imported a large number of professionals and achieved a quicker development. 

 

Some optimists considered the acquisition as an important example for those flourishing enterprises who were riding the fence since the global economy was slowing down due to the impact of financial crisis, which might start a new wave of merger and acquisition in domestic enterprises in the same industry.
