Oracle China has announced plans for launching Oracle E-commerce 11i applied software certification in China through its training organization Oracle University.

Lu Tao, training director of Oracle University in China, has told local media that one of the Oracle's main missions is to train IT talents for the government departments, clients, partners and academic institutions in China, so the launching of the certification reflects Oracle's commitment to China market. Besides, this helps reduce the shortage of experienced software talents and helps enterprises and institutions better manage application software systems.

Based on Oracle's e-commerce suite 11i and relevant courses, the applied software certification program requires students to undergo a series of online exams or strict offline exams before they can gain a certificate. It is available to three groups of people, Oracle 11i Financial Certification Consultants, Oracle 11i Supply Chain Certification Consultants and Oracle 11i Application Technology Certification Managers.
