Agile to Lead PLM Workshop at Future Medical Manufacturing Forum

Leading PLM Vendor to Discuss How to Decrease Cycle Times, Improve Quality and Reduce Costs With Product Lifecycle Management

WHO:? WHAT:? The Future Medical Manufacturing Forum focuses on the challenges that face the medical manufacturing organizations to sustain their competitiveness and to realize the potential that lie ahead for world class organizations in the medical manufacturing industry. The forum brings together industry leaders and business luminaries together for think tanks, roundtable discussions, workshops and keynote presentations.

TOPIC:? In the workshop, titled “Product Lifecycle Management: Improve Product Profitability in the Medical Device Industry,” attendees will learn how PLM helps medical device companies accelerate revenue, reduce costs, improve quality, ensure compliance and drive innovation throughout the product lifecycle.? A customer case study on Haemonetics, a global leader in blood processing technology, will be presented and will detail the PLM selection and implementation process, ending with a report on results. Best practices around the following will be discussed: single system of truth for all product related information, design history file management, multi-functional Device Master Record (DMR) collaboration, corrective and preventative action processes, and systematic change control. Attendees will leave this workshop with a greater understanding of PLM, who is using it and how it is making a difference at leading medical device companies today.
