Asian show highlights market potential

Leading global flow control specialist FCX believes there are many new opportunities in the Asian market.

That's the verdict of the global group following attendance at the first ever Valve World Asia Expo and Conference, held recently in Shangai.

'The event was a great success', explained Darren Sheppard, Sales Director of FCX Thompson Valves based in Poole, UK.

'The exhibition brought a large number of clients from a diverse range of market sectors'.

FCX International was promoting its range of manufacturing products from FCX Orton, FCX Thompson Valves, FCX IMF, FCX GHR, FCX Newman Hattersley, FCX Truflo Rona and FCX Truflo Marine.

In addition, the FCX distribution network which includes FCX Europe, FCX USA and FCX Australasia was able to profile expertise and service in different markets and attract the attention of major clients and suppliers in the Chinese market.

'FCX's products are well suited to many of China's market sectors', added Sheppard.

'Many of our products such as Maxseal solenoid valves are already well known and recognised in many of the major Chinese market sectors but the exhibition helped us extend our presence and profile in China'.

'We have been able to build a greater awareness in China and develop new routes to market via some new relationships with valuable and high quality local valve manufacturers'.

'FCX will continue to be committed to, and present in China'.
