Toyota recalls 33,809 Corollas for engine defect
Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 33,809 Corolla sedans in China to fix potential defects that may cause the engine to stop working.
Toyota produced those vehicles in the northeast city of Tianjin from Oct. 23, 2010, through Jan. 29, 2011, Toyota said in a statement.
The Tianjin plant is jointly operated by Toyota and China's FAW Group.
