RTP Company Opens Manufacturing Facility in China
On December 8, 2005 RTP Company celebrated the grand opening of its first manufacturing plant in China. Located in Suzhou Industrial Park, RTP Company (Suzhou) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of RTP Company, a worldwide leader in the production of specialty thermoplastic materials.
The US company says the move supports its multinational clients.

12 December 2005 ?Speciality compounder RTP has opened its first manufacturing plant in China, based in Suzhou.
President and chief executive Hugh Miller said: Our new Suzhou facility is a strategic move towards globalisation necessitated by our growing customer base in Asia and the expectations of our multinational customers who require the same materials anywhere on the globe.
RTP's fully owned subsidiary in China will operate the 16,000 sq metre facility. The plant has state of the art manufacturing capabilities, offering full customer support, product development and technical services, said the company.
The Suzhou venture is RTP's second facility in Asia. The US company opened a plant in Singapore in 2002. Its five other plants are in North America and Europe
