Penney, selected NGC based on the strength of NGC's ERP solution and the company's extensive experience in the apparel industry. The functionality of NGC's ERP was ideally suited to Granada's requirements. According to McGinn, NGC's ERP software will provide Granada with "a single point of entry for the entire company, from finance to inventory control, sales orders and production – the complete manufacturing lifecycle. It includes a number of attributes that are essential in the apparel industry, such as the way it handles cut and sew operations, the integrated EDI module, and inventory management. NGC's ERP will help our existing personnel become much more productive."
