Huber SE wanted a single fully integrated ERP solution to replace its current software, which came from different vendors. The company selected IFS because IFS Applications provided the best fit for Huber’s requirements, especially in the key areas of project-based manufacturing and engineering, and because of the availability of local support. Huber SE will implement IFS components for manufacturing, engineering, distribution, service management, document management, quality management, project management, human resource management, and sales and service. Existing systems will be replaced at headquarters in Berching, Germany, to begin with. Further sites will follow, with go-live throughout Germany by the end of 2011. Roll-out to subsidiaries worldwide is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2012.
