Geely goes to online sales
On Dec 6, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co became the first domestic automaker to sell cars on Taobao Mall, China's largest online shop.
The company plans to begin online sales of its micro-car Panda on Dec 22. It said that more models specially tailored for online shopping will be available later.
Geely sold more than 44,000 cars last month. Its January-to-November sales totaled 359,000 units, about 90 percent of its full-year target of 400,000.
