Ford Recalls Mondeo And S-Max Cars In China

According to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Chang'an Ford Mazda Automobile Corporation has started recalling 14,205 Mondeo and 2,642 S-Max cars.

The quality watchdog said that the Mondeo cars that are being recalled were produced between August 2008 and April 2009, while the S-Max cars were produced between July 2008 and June 2009.

The recall, which begun on September 18, 2010 was due to a problem with the anti-lock breaking system.

Chang'an Ford Automobile Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Chang'an Motors, and is based in Chongqing, China.
