China's Yingli Signs For 30 MW Of PV Modules To Spain

Baoding, China-based Yingli Green Energy Holding Company has signed five sales agreements with customers in Spain for a total of 30 megawatts of photovoltaic modules.

Under these sales agreements, in the first half of 2010 Yingli is expected to supply a total of approximately 30 MW of PV modules to be installed in ground-mounted power plants and commercial roof-top systems.

Liansheng Miao, the chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy stated that following the global financial crisis and the Spanish market's sharp decline in early 2009 Yingli Green Energy has been enhancing its marketing and execution capabilities. He added that Yingli were encouraged by their progress as customers increasingly viewed 'Yingli Solar' as a reliable, trustworthy and bankable brand and he looked forward to a promising year ahead.
