Starbucks China Recalls Faulty Coffee Makers
Starbucks China says that it is making a global recall for two types of coffee makers.
The two types are said to be coffee maker models Barista and Beattle's Best Coffee. It is reported that these may cause injury due to problems with switching on and off.
Starbucks China says that consumers who purchased these products between March 2002 and March 2009 can now return the goods in any Starbucks outlet in mainland China.
Starbucks China states that the two types of products were both made by a company called Chan Kui in China and the coffee maker branded with the name Barista is also sold in the Chinese market.
It is learned that a total of 530,000 coffee makers are involved in this recall.
