China's bus maker tops Macedonia's bus procurement bidding
One of China's largest bus-makers has been named the most favorable bidder at Macedonia's tender for bus procurement, news reaching Tirana from Skopje reported on June 18,2009.
Yutong Group, located in Zhengzhou in China's central province of Henan, offers a basic price for 302 double-decker buses at a price tag of 51,000,000 euros, Macedonia's Ministry of Transport and Communications said.
The buses will be procured in the next three years following the signing of a public procurement contract, a press release from the ministry reads.
Turkish company Guleryuz, Bulgaria's King Long and Macedonia's Sanos also took part in the bidding.
Yutong Group is a large-scale enterprise group with bus making as its core business. Its business also includes engineering machinery and real estate.
