Renault Apologizes To Chinese Consumers For Substandard Cars

Renaualt's cars, the French automaker's office in Beijing has issued an announcement, apologizing to Chinese consumers for hidden safety problems with the company's cars.

Renault states that it feels deeply apologetic to its consumers and will accept AQSIQ's suggestions and make a correction immediately. Renault says that it will provide free test services to ensure the safety of the cars for consumers who have concerns about Renault brand cars.
 
Earlier, AQSIQ issued a notice on its website which said that four models of Renault cars had safety problems and their import should be suspended. The four cars are said to be Renault Laguna Ph2, Renault Scenic Ph2, Renault Megane Ph2 and Renault Megane Cabriolet.
